and INSURANCE Protection.
LEGAL ASSISTANCE
SERVICE
FBA's
Legal Assistance service will give your customer access to a telephone
legal information line. Our lawyers will answer questions on all legal
matters concerning the employee's private life, no matter what field of
Canadian law. The information is provided by:
• lawyers with at least five years of experience;
• through a Toll-free number;
• all information provided is substantiated and,
• the number and length of call is unlimited.
LEGAL INSURANCE
PROTECTION

In the event of a dispute concerning:
• Consumer transaction : Dispute related to a lack
of respect of a contract, latent defects, misleading advertising all in
connection with a consumer transaction;
• Bodily injury or property damage : dispute related
to injury sustained by insured due to the negligence or fault of a third
party;
• Principal and secondary residences : any dispute
related to principal or secondary residence;
• Income security : any dispute relating to difficulties
for the insured to have his rights recognized under a public or private
income replacement plan (workman's compensation, disability insurance,
SAAQ and CSST for Quebec),
the Insured selects a lawyer of his choice and the legal insurance protection
will cover the lawyer's fees, external expert's expenses and legal cost
up to the determined limit of the policy.
Also covers, non-litigated cases related to:
• Settlement of estate.
• Protective supervision plan, guardianship, tutor, curator.
