LEGAL ASSISTANCE
SERVICE
FBA's Legal Assistance service will give your customer access to a telephone
legal information line. Our lawyers will answer questions on all legal
matters concerning the Insured’s profession, no matter what field
of Canadian law. The information is provided by:
• lawyers with at least five years of experience;
• through a Toll-free number;
• all information provided is substantiated and,
• the number and length of call is unlimited.
LEGAL INSURANCE PROTECTION
In the event of a dispute concerning:
• a professional inquiry of a legal nature, where the presence of
the Insured is required;
• an inquiry into the aptitude of the Insured to practice the profession;
• an inquiry into the Insured’s valid right of practice or
renewal of his/her permit;
• a disciplinary inquiry or complaint;
• criminal or penal charges against the Insured, but only if discharged
or acquitted,
the Insured selects
a lawyer of his choice and the legal insurance protection will cover the
lawyer's fees, external expert's expenses and legal cost up to the determined
limit of the policy.
